Metrowax Records is a one-stop vinyl record shop, specializing in hip hop, dance, remixes, and classics for DJ's. With a large number of in-stock 12" singles and LPs at rock bottom prices and world class customer service, we can serve all of your vinyl needs. We obtain new records by buying record collections from DJ's, closed stores, radio stations, and individual sellers on a regular basis.

We sell vinyl records. Each used record is cleaned, graded, and photographed before it is listed for sale. Our listings are detailed and accurate so you can be sure the item you receive matches the item you purchased. Our grading is very conservative,
and notable defects and features are individually noted. All merchandise we sell is guaranteed to be in the stated condition. Be aware that certain pressings do not have the best sound quality even if they are brand new, due to production and mastering flaws. To learn more, please view our

We stock everything we sell in our own warehouse; we don't do pre-orders or backorders. Our team of dedicated employees combined
with the latest technologies means you can trust us to pick and process your order correctly and quickly. We will try to combine multiple orders, but it is best if you can order all of the items you want on a single order.
Order Processing and Handling
All except the largest orders are sent out quickly, usually within 24 hours. Metrowax cleans and tightly packages our records into sturdy boxes made specifically for shipping records. We tape all the seams and clearly mark each box with fragile and do not bend. We take many precautions to get you your order safely, and we are highly committed to this goal. However careful we may be, some light damage to the cover may be caused by the shipping process. Orders can be double-boxed to prevent cover damage. In some cases we may ask for an extra fee for double boxing certain items to protect the cover in transit.
All orders are shipped via the US postal service and will be delivered by your local mailcarrier. All shipping methods come with a tracking number, unless noted. We do not currently offer shipping by UPS or FedEx. Please make sure we have the correct address for shipping,
and type any special instructions or comments on your order. To track your package, please follow the link in your conformation email.
International Shipping Information
Economy Packet is now the least expensive option for international shipments where available. It does have tracking and can be tracked at USPS website. This service will be delivered by your local mailcarrier, with delivery times of about 3 to 4 weeks. Economy Packet and Priority Select Mail packages can only weigh up to 4 pounds. First-Class International is only available for packages weighing less than 4 pounds and comes with tracking. Priority Mail and Express Mail services both come with tracking, and are sometimes the only option for heavier packages. Please be aware that your country may charge a customs duty. We are not responsible for any customs fees that are incurred. We are not responsible for packages not picked up, refused, or otherwise rejected and not claimed by the buyer. Shipping charges cannot be refunded. The value declared for customs will not be less than the value of the records in your order. Please note that some classes of mail are not not available, or could be a higher cost in certain countries.

International Economy Packet, Value Select and Priority Select packages are delivered by your local mail carrier after they are flown to the coast and injected with outgoing international mail. International shipments can be delayed in shipping or in customs of the destination country. Some shipments could take up to 6 weeks or more to arrive.
We accept credit cards (Mastercard, Visa, Discover), Paypal, Money Order (US Dollars drawn from a US bank only), Cash (US Dollars only sent by registered mail), and Western Union.
Our physical presence in Wisconsin requires us to charge all Wisconsin customers a 5.5% state sales tax. Orders from elsewhere will not be subject to any sales tax. International orders may be subject to customs fees and duties upon delivery.
Returns and Defective Items
Metrowax Records will only accept returns of merchandise sold under the following conditions:
Timely Communication: In all cases of a return, complaint, or dispute of any kind, we ask that you contact us prior to taking
action. From the date of receiving your package, you have 7 days to write Metrowax support to request a return. Please state which items will be returned, the reason for the return, and the date you received the package. Please be as descriptive as possible regarding your complaint.
Unacceptable Reasons for a Return:
- You were expecting to receive a CD or other media. We only sell vinyl records on this website.
- You did not get the mix you were looking for. Please do supporting research if needed to determine whether or not the release we are selling suits your needs.
- You were expecting a new item, but received a used item. Most of what we sell are used items. We put a lot of effort into grading our used product and grade accurately and conservatively. Please review our grading standards prior to ordering to avoid surprises.
Return Postage: Shipping charges to return the item will be paid for by the buyer, unless we made an error with your order, an item is misrepresented, defective, or damaged during shipping.
Returning of Merchandise: To ensure the safe return of merchandise, please package the item carefully in the same box it was sent in. We suggest using USPS mail with delivery conformation or another service with tracking service. Items must be received in an unaltered and acceptable condition to obtain a refund.
