Synthpop is the name for our 1980's and 1990's pop music category, which is mainly American synthpop, 1980's european style pop music, new wave, and Hi NRG. You may noticed we don't have a pop category. This is because we feel that the definition of pop music changes over time. Right now, I would say that the pop category would include as much R&B and hip hop as it would actual pop music. Synthpop is one of our most frequently stocked categories, and currently there are well over 2,700 records in stock here!
